Anyone remember Billy Bamm?8/10/2008 10:28:31 PM

0

I've googled the name and there is absolutely nothing out there on Billy
Bamm or Bam. He was a character in some U.S. TV commercials in the mid-60s -
a teenage boy who played amazingly well at all sorts of sports because of
the product he ate or drank -- I don't remember the product. I'm surprised
there is nothing out there on it. Anyone remember these ads?

No sign of him on imdb, though there were similar names.
You wouldn't know the actor's name, or any part of it?
Was the Billy Bam name entirely fictional?

Entirely fictional name, portrayed by a teenage actor - I don't know the
actor's name. Amazing that a Google search with that name (either Bamm or
Bam), even together with Nestle (or Nestles), turns up absolutely nothing,
except these posts. I thought it was at least a big enough deal in popular
culture that there would be at least a hit or two.
