Almost everyone has heard that wood ticks cause Lime Disease. This
indicates to me that wood ticks are made out of the wood harvested
from lime trees. Yet, no one has ever mentioned that products such as
Mountain Dew soda (and others) contain lime. You can get lime disease
if a wood tick crawls on you, but you can also get it from any food or
beverage that contains lime. Always read the labels on all food and
beverages and avoid anything containing lime. It's still not
determined whether handling barn lime can be a factor too, so I'd
avoid it.

Actually Lime Disease is called Scurvey and is related to a shortage
of Vitamine C. Eat more Limes. :-)
