The local church discontinued their ice cream socials about five years ago
They made egg custard ice cream the old fashioned way, with large
traditional hand cranked freezers. The best selling flavor was grape nuts
in vanilla and they grossed over $1,000. But the freezers were getting old
(the hoops fail) and it was difficult getting the required human power.
Still can get traditional freezers (lehmans.com) but they're $200 and up.
Anyone ever made frozen yogurt?
